Who we are?

Vago is a boutique advisory firm specializing in outbound real estate investments for Asia-based family offices and high net worth individuals. We focus on working with investors that are cash-rich and cannot afford the time or resources to construct a professionally-run real estate investment portfolio.

Initially, we focus on the UK and Australia markets; and gradually, we will expand to Canada, Germany, Japan and other developed markets.

Vago was founded professionals with expertise in real estate investments, deal structuring, tax and accounting. We work with best-in-class local operators to ensure impeccable execution of business plans.

Our edge

“Giants are not what we think they are. The same qualities that appear to give them strength are often the sources of great weakness.” ― Malcolm Gladwell, David and Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits, and the Art of Battling Giants

Vago’s edge is our agility and flexibility. While we avoid overcrowded market segments, we are agnostic about location and asset classes.

While we may not have the financial capability to work on scalable investment strategies, large institutional investors may not work on smaller opportunities due to restrictions of their mandates and overheads. Therefore, we focus on relatively smaller opportunities that play to our core strengths, i.e. opportunities that require sophisticated asset management and present favorable risk-adjusted returns.

Our goals

To reduce barrier of entry to professionally managed private equity real estate investments, including development projects and value-add opportunities.

To provide professional service to our investors, while delivering superior returns via bypassing multiple layers of distribution costs.

To be excellent at what we do over an extended period of time such that our investors can be VAGOs.

Urban Dictionary: a VAGO is a person who does not do anything in the entire day. He does not have a work, he does not go to the school, he just is walking on the streets.
